Celticked

This past tuesday, the L.A. Lakers were cast aside by the Boston Celtics. I’ve been a Lakers fan for nigh on ten years, so I was quite distraught.

Yet just the fact that they made it, and weren’t swept in four, is satisfying. To be honest, I didn’t get to see a lot of their games this season, but I really enjoyed the diversity and style the team exhibited when I did see them.

I also acknowledge the Celtics as the better team, especially in the Finals. They crushed the Lakers when the time came to do so, and they showed the drive and the mercilessness a champion must possess in order to win it all.

I just hope that this Boston winning everything doesn’t last too long, because frankly, it’s going to start getting a bit boring for the rest of the country.
